Arsenal vs Norwich: Why Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Should Not Be Written Off After His Performance

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended Arsenal's wait for a goal and some points in the English Premier League after scoring a goal against Norwich City, making it his first goal of the season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now been directly involved in 80 Premier League goals for Arsenal (117 matches, 65 goals and 15 assists). The Arsenal's captain is a Top class striker and here is why he should not be written off yet, after putting up such an incredible performance;

The 32 year old now has four goals for Arsenal this season (Carabao cup included), and he scored all of them from playing in the middle as a center forward. In the game against Norwich city, he missed a couple of chances, but later turned a huge threat after Partey came on, with Saka and Pepe out wide.

The Gabonese captain has scored five goals in his three Premier League games against Norwich, including netting a brace in both meetings with the Canaries in the 2019/2020 season. Also, he has now scored the same amount of Premier League goals for Arsenal as Theo Walcott (65) and this is the beginning of more goals to come in the season.
