Arsenal's Next 2 Fixtures That May See Them Drop Points In The Premier League Title Race

Arsenal has been on an impressive run of form recently, with consecutive Premier League victories propelling them into the thick of the title race. However, their next two fixtures could prove to be stumbling blocks as they look to maintain their momentum and secure their first Premier League title in over a decade.

1) First game would see the Gunners take on Crystal Palace. The Gunners have been in excellent form of late and will be looking to extend the gap on Manchester City. Arsenal will need to be at their best to get a result, and given Crystal Palace's formidable teamwork, a draw would be considered a good result.

2) The second fixture that could prove problematic for Arsenal is a home game against Leeds United. Leeds United have struggled for consistency this season but have shown flashes of their potential, most notably in their recent 4-2 victory over Wolves.

Leeds United have the firepower to cause any team problems as they are very good offensively.

While Arsenal will be confident of getting a positive result in both of these games, they will need to be at their very best to avoid dropping points. With Manchester City and Manchester United breathing down their necks, any slip-up could prove costly in the race for the title.

Ultimately, these next two fixtures could prove to be defining moments in Arsenal's title challenge. If they can come away with two positive results, they will send a message to their rivals that they mean business. However, if they drop points, it could be a setback that sees them slip down the table and lose ground in the race for the title.
