All eyes on Sergio Aguero as he inches closer to his Barcelona bow

Gold fish has no hiding place as all eyes are on Sergio Aguero' as his injury nightmare seems to be over. He is now in contention to make his official debut for Barcelona at the weekend after he netted against third-tier side UE Cornella in a behind-closed-doors friendly. This is good music for the Blaugrana who had high hopes after the 33-year-old joined the Catalan giants on a free transfer after bringing an end to his long stay at Premier League champions Manchester City last summer.

Barcelona are the once dreaded side feared by all and sundry, but their underwhelming performance this season, is well documented yet there is hope in the form of Aguero as the Blaugrana is hanging their hat on his production for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

Having lost their talisman (Lionel Messi) when they club could not afford the financial package to extend his contract, with the poor results in the champions league, and in the Laliga, a lot is expected from Sergio Aguero to lift the mood their at Camp Nou starting from this weekend cracker against Valencia.
