The FIFA youth tournaments, is a gold mine for unearthing and discovering raw football talents who would go on to make exploits in their professional career.
From the U-17 to U-20 World Cups, so many top players were discovered from these competitions and have shown fans across the world how good they are as footballers.
It's why remembering a special edition of the youth cadre competition, unravels three current football superstars who participated in it.
In what would be a horrendous performance by England youth team, saw the young three Lions side finish rock bottom in their group at the FIFA U-20 World Cup of 2013.
Two draws and a defeat was more than enough to dump England out of the competition, but led to the discovery of top striker, Harry Kane.
Although, he was not prolific in the competition, his striking abilities and positional awareness were noticeable for all to see.
Harry Kane is now one of the best strikers in the English Premier League, and captain of the England national team.

Fellow Premier League player, Wilfred Ndidi had a rather different story to tell at the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 with the Flying Eagles.
The John Obuh led team scaled past the group stages, but were swiftly dumped out of the competition in the round of 16 by Uruguay.
For Wilfred Ndidi, it was the beginning of something special and the rest they say is history.
The Nigerian player is now regarded as one of the best defensive midfield players in the Premier League, and across Europe.

Lastly, to a player who would play a huge part in his country's triumph at the FIFA U-20 World Cup was Paul Pogba.
When you have an exceptionally talented team with future stars like Kurt Zouma, Samuel Umtiti, Alphonse Areola, Florian Thauvin and Pogba; winning the tournament was a certainty.
Paul Pogba, shone brightly in the competition as France breezed their way to the final defeating Uruguay via penalty shootout.
Interestingly, the Frenchman went on to scoop the best player of the competition award to give us all an idea of the future he would later have as a FIFA World Cup winner, and player for Manchester United.
