Opinion: Chelsea Are About To Make A Big Mistake By Selling Another Top Youngstar.

Latest reports indicates that English premier league club side Crystal Palace are close to signing Chelsea Fc youngstar Marc Guehi on a permanent deal in the region of 20 million.

The youngstar was impressive last season on loan at Swansea City in the championship, and is now on the verge of heading to Palace to join Patrick Viera's team, after they reached an agreement with Guehi's parent club Chelsea.

The Ivorian born born English defender is regarded as one of the blues best youngstars and has been at Chelsea since the year 2007.

Guehi made his first ever senior appearances in an EFL cup game against Grimsby Town way back in 2019 under former manager Frank Lampard.

Many would have expected that after his impressive loan spell with Swansea City, that the 21 year old defender would be able to work his way into Thomas Tuchel's plan ahead of next season, but rather the club have opted to sell the highly rated defender.

The news of Guehi's impending transfer to Crystal Palace will come as a big blow to Chelsea fans, as the defender is one who has enough potentials to prove himself at Stamford bridge if been given the chance.

I will thus be stating why Chelsea's decision to allow Guehi leave on a permanent deal will be a big mistake.

Chelsea have already sold Tomori

It's shocking that Chelsea will let another highly rated defender to leave the club, after selling Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan this summer.

Both players are both age 21, and such move by the club only but shows that Chelsea aren't even planning for the future, since they could let two young defenders leave the club.

Chelsea didn't give Guehi a chance

Just like how the sale of players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and not forgetting Mohammed Salah all backfired in the end, i feel that that of Guehi may follow the same route reason because Chelsea rarely gave the youngstar a chance to prove himself just like the aforementioned names.

Recall that Chelsea let the likes Salah, De Bruyne and even Lukaku leave the club without keeping faith in them, and the end result wasn't commendable, as Chelsea lost three world class in the end.

Guehi is one player who is really worthy of a chance to showcase his talents at Chelsea after his impressive spell on loan, and it would have been a wise decision to keep him for another season rather selling him to Crystal Palace.

Do you think Chelsea will regret selling Marc Guehi?
