Barcelona were defeated by Celta 2-1 and the defeat ended their Laliga title hope. Barcelona failed to get past Celta and keep their title hopes alive. Barcelona captain Lionel Messi scored the first goal in the match and put his side ahead of Celta but was unable to score a winning goal for Barcelona. Clement Lenglet was sent off by the referee in the late minute of the game. Barcelona is now out of the Laliga title race this season and both the players and coach are dissapointed.
Atletico madrid gained three points in the Laliga after defeating Osasuna. Lodi and Luiz Suarez both scored for Atletico madrid and the match later ended 2-1. Luiz Suarez scored the winning goal for Atletico madrid and Real madrid also defeated Athletic club, Nacho scored the winning goal for his side while Athletic club star player Raul Garcia was sent off in the match.
Ronald Koeman said he shouldn't be asked about his future in Barcelona. He explained that Lionel messi needs to remain with the club and they need to score more goals and avoid commiting errors in their match. Koeman said they need to avoid losing important games.
