Spanish La Liga Santander giant, FC Barcelona have not really been impressive this season across all competitions after losing some of their key players due to financial situation, which denied the club from renewing Lionel Messi's contract after initially agreeing a pre-contract to be formalized.
The club's situation became deteriorated as this was complicated with the growing list of injury that kept some other key players out of action for the Catalan giant so far in their league openers.
Barcelona in their bid to adapt to life after the departure of the Argentine talisman continue their struggles after failing to net a goal yesterday in their 5th league game of the season against Cadiz which placed them 7th on the table, after accruing 9 points from possible 15 points so far (2W 3D).
However, the Ronlad Koeman's side suffered their first defeat of the season in their European competition opening game against Julian Nagelsmann's Bayern Munich team, which placed them at the bottom of the table with no point in the group.
Barcelona has greatly been affected by the growing list of injury which kept seven of their remaining and available key players out of action.
The following are the list of injured players who are most likely to be a regular starter in the squad paraded by Ronald Koeman:
- Sergio Aguero who has never make a debut for the club since his arrival from Manchester City in the last summer transfer window.
- Jordi Alba who has been a prominent figure in the team also got injured after Barcelona's defeat to Bayern Munich in the UCL opener.
- Martin Braithwaite could have also make a huge difference for the club so far having kick-started the campaign on a remarkable note before his injury.
- Ousmane Dembélé who played a major role for the team in the last season to emerge the Champions of the Spanish Copa Del Rey trophy, is also yet to make an appearance for the club this season after experiencing set-back in his injury.
Others on the list are Balde, Ansu Fati and Pedri Gonzalez who had a busy campaign since the start of the last season for both club and country.
Wishing them all quick and speedy recovery and hope they are back to the pitch of play better and stronger.
