Man United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to bolster his squad in this summer transfer window in other to turn the Red devils into league challengers next season. As well as a winger and a playmaker, the Norwegian manager is desperate to add a new midfielder to the team.
Manchester United have long been linked with many midfielders this season with the latest being Thiago, who is set to be available this season.
The Spanish international has spend seven years in Bayern Munich, but the clubs chief has confirmed the midfielder will depart the German team, after failing to agree a new contract with his current contract set to expire this year.
Numerous clubs in Europe have been interested to secure his service, as the midfielder could be available for a cheaper bargain, but according to Spanish publication, Manchester United have won the race as Thiago Alcantara is about to seal a move to Old Trafford as Bayern Munich is set to let him go for £36.2m.
This for me is a good business to do, the Spaniard is one of the best midfielders in the current world of football.
