UEFA Champions League

Tuchel should always deploy Havertz as the main striker in the absence of Werner and Lukaku.

Chelsea football club have been dealt a major blow as their duo strikers, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku were both injured in their UEFA champions league match against Malmo.

The Billionaires club were on top of their game in possession, dominance and pressuring the Malmo team in a 1-0 scoreline until the injury woes struck them. Romelu Lukaku was the first to be subtituted by Kai Havertz, after he (Lukaku) picked up an ankle injury courtesy of a rough tackle by a Malmo's player. Timo Werner got a tear in his thigh minutes later and was substituted by Callum Hudson-Odoi.

To the surprise of all Chelsea's fans, the front-line that was thought to have quenched down courtesy of the unavailability of Chelsea's duo strikers Werner and Lukaku, rather became more stronger as the trio of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz gave the Malmo's defenders a lot of work to do. With Havertz given the Malmo's defenders tough time.

The Chelsea's trio front-line were outstanding as they understood each other perfectly well and made decisive passes and runs amongst themselves which yielded to a positive results as Kai Havertz got a goal courtesy of an assist by Hudson-Odoi.

I believe Tuchel has got his trio front-line attackers that can perform extremely well in the absence of Lukaku and Werner. And Tuchel should always deploy Havertz as his main striker for now until both Werner and Lukaku returns back to action.
