Edward Stephen Hall is a British former professional strongman. He won the World's Strongest Man 2017 competition. Hall has also won the UK's Strongest Man and England's Strongest Man competitions multiple times.
Nicknamed the Beast, Edward Hall was born on 15 January 1988 (age 32) in Staffordshire Newcastle, England.
In April 2013, Hall failed to qualify for Europe's Strongest Man 2013. However, he was given a second chance when fellow European Ervin Katona was forced to retire due to injury. Hall competed in his place and came in eighth place.
Despite coming eight in Europe's Strongest Man 2013 competition, Eddie continued to train hard and work on his strength and physique.
In 2015, he finished 4th at the World's Strongest Man competition, an enormous improvement from the previous years.
Eddie Hall's training routine is quite extreme, lifting deadlift 463 kg (1,021 lb) and 465 kg (1,025 lb), and lastly 500 kg which made him faint after lifting such a heavyweight for the first time in his career.
After working extremely hard on his performance which includes lifting four women just like you'll lift iron racks, and also powerlifting two adult males holding onto a strap on their waist as support.
Eddie came prepared in 2017 and smashed all the records set by other competitors by winning the World's Strongest Man competition and also announced his intention to retire from the competition.
He opted to compete in lower-weight tournaments after expressing health-related concerns.

Eddie Hall is also an actor, he featured in the blockbuster movie “Transformers: The Last Knight” as a Saxon Warrior who lived in the year 484 AD, when King Arthur and his knights fight a losing battle against the Saxons. Before Merlin approached the Knights of Iacon, a group of Transformers hiding on Earth, to help win the war.
He was one of the dreaded Saxons warriors who fought King Arthur in that movie.
Eddie Hall like other bodybuilders and the world's strongest man maintains a very disciplined healthy lifestyle, he eats up foods like egg white, chicken breast, green vegetables, fish, and oats. He likely consumes body strengthening drugs to help him lift unbelievable weights and deadlifts.
His dieting routine includes gulping an entire box of milk without taking a break or removing it from his mouth.
In 2017 Eddie weighed 196 kg/ 432lbs, but going into intense training and working on his body he managed to achieve a chiseled body and cut down to 161 kg/ 355lbs. He achieved his dreamed body after three years.
When it comes to physical activities and fistfights, Eddie hits harder than a train on full collision, he knocks out opponents who care to spar him in the ring of training within minutes of putting on his gear.
Interestingly, upcoming this year is a fight between two monsters, Eddie and Hafþór Björnsson AKA “The Mountain” from the popular TV series Game of Thrones.
The fight is also known as “The Heaviest Boxing Match in History”, is an upcoming boxing match between strongmen Eddie Hall and Hafþór Björnsson.
It is the first boxing match for both athletes and is set to take place in September 2021 at a yet to be specified venue in Paradise, Nevada.
These two have been at a war of words with each other throughout the year 2020, and this feud was fuelled when Hafþór Björnsson the Mountain broke Eddie Hall's record of lifting 500 kg by lifting 501 in his personal gym.
Breaking this record did not go well with Eddie the strongest man in the world (2017), so come September 2021 in Nevada, we'll get the opportunity to witness these two absolute beasts destroy each other in the ring for the first time.
And lest I forget, Eddie Hall is not only facing the guy who broke his 500 kg deadlift record but also the strongest man in Iceland.
Imagine punches from these guys who lifted 500 kg and 501 kg respectively, these guys' punches will definitely sting like a bee and do serious damages.
I Can't wait for this fight to happen, because I'm eager to see who knocks out who in this fight, and prove he's the strongest man among the two.
