[OPINION]: Why Saka, Smith Rowe, Mount And Foden Are Ahead Of Other Youngsters In The Premier League

The North London Derby was lit up by the performance of Arsenal's famous Hale End Academy graduates Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

Each youngster grabbed a goal and an assist in the first half of the game to send the Arsenal team on their way to an emphatic 3-1 win.

There are many youngsters in the Premier League with so much talent and ability such as Manchester United's Mason Greenwood, Chelsea's Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Trevor Chalobah, Manchester City's Phil Foden, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Folarin Balogun and so on.

Although the aforementioned players are good with great technical abilities and skills, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Mason Mount and Phil Foden are ahead of the others.

The reason why Mason Mount, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are ahead of other youngsters in the Premier League is that they have the ability to play a variety of positions without a significant drop in quality or performance.

Bukayo Saka is an excellent right-winger with attacking thrust but he is equally capable on the left flank and as a left-back. He has played all these positions and has performed very well for Arsenal.

Emile Smith Rowe is a quality attacking midfielder with his good runs and understanding of space between the lines. He is equally great on the flanks and has played there with high quality. In the North London Derby against Tottenham, Emile Smith Rowe played from the flank.

Mason Mount is an attacking midfielder with a great balance and ball-carrying ability. The Englishman is likewise capable of playing in central midfield and from the flank. Under the management of Frank Lampard, Mason Mount was used in many positions and he performed excellently without a drop in quality.

Phil Foden is also an attacking midfielder like Mason Mount but with better shooting accuracy. Everyone knows Pep Guardiola doesn't like players who can't interchange positions on the pitch. Phil Foden is quite capable of playing different positions without a significant drop in quality.

The likes of Kai Havertz, Mason Greenwood and so on only perform well when used in their preferred position. For example, when Manchester United tried Mason Greenwood as a centre forward and attacking midfielder, there was a significant drop in quality because he wasn't suited to the role.

Kai Havertz also struggled to play well when he was used on the flanks. I think Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Mason Mount and Phil Foden are all-action players and should be regarded as such. All other youngsters in the Premier League are quite good but not on the same level as these players.
