Ex Manchester United striker scores and assists as Al Shabab thrash Al Ain

Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo hit the back of the net as Al Shabab walloped Al Ain 5-1 on Wednesday.

The forward also assisted in the Saudi Arabian Pro League game at 

Starting as the lone man upfront, the reliable attacker was a menace to Al Ain.

Seba put Al Shabab in front in the 36th minute after good work from Ever Banega.

Five minutes later, Ighalo netted his seventh goal of the Saudi Arabian Pro League season from Cristian Guanca's assist.

Badou Ndiaye reduced the tally before the break.

Ever Banega deservedly found the back of the net from the penalty spot.

Ighalo then turned provider for Cristian Guanca.

The ex Udinese and Watford man gave way for Turki Al-Ammar in the 76th minute.

Banega missed a spot kick before Igor Lichnovsky wrapped things up for the hosts.

Apart from the afromentioned clubs, Odion Ighalo has also played for Lyn, Cessna, Granada, Changchun Yatai and Shanghai Greenland Shenhua in his Professional Career.
