Chelsea News: WestHam Keen On Zouma, Star Player Edges Closer To Joining New Club, Update On Haaland

Westham Keen On Zouma

West Ham are keen on signing Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma, who would cost at least 25 million euros, and it is thought that the Blues would then use this money to put it towards their bid for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde. However, if Zouma ends up heading to Andalusia as part of that deal, West Ham have identified Fiorentina's Nikola Maksimovic as a back-up option.

Star Player Edges Closer To Joining New Club

Chelsea teenager Tino Livramento is set to complete a £5 million ($7m) move to Southampton, with Brighton missing out on the highly-rated youngster. The England U19 international will now become the second player to leave the Blues for Southampton this summer, with Dynel Simeu having already done likewise. Talks with Chelsea were stepped up over the weekend, allowing an agreement that suits all parties to be reached. Tino Livramento is edging towards a Chelsea exit and he has seemingly already said goodbye to his Blues team mates with an emotional Instagram post. He wrote: "After ten amazing years of playing for the only club that I’ve supported since a child, I’m taking the next big step in my career. Update On Haaland

Chelsea are still being backed to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. Despite the Bundesliga giants insisting the 21-year-old isn’t for sale, and the player himself trying to shut down rumours, a deal is still possible. And it was previously claimed the Norway international had agreed personal terms with the west London outfit. Chelsea have been preparing for a deal. They’ve already offloaded Olivier Giroud, allowing the France international to join AC Milan for a fee of £2 million. And Tammy Abraham is also likely to be sold with Arsenal and West Ham firmly in the mix to secure his signature. Chelsea, now, are still working on a deal for Haaland. They know it will be difficult, but also know now is the time to strike given the money problems at other top clubs around the world.

Lukaku to Chelsea

With the Premier League season now less than two weeks away, the Blues are still yet to sign a new number 9. However, a deal for Lukaku this summer does not seem to be out of the question just yet. The Athletic penned a story on Monday covering Chelsea’s pursuit of the Belgian, in which they claim the Londoners have already made two bids for him this summer. And whilst those bids have seemingly been knocked back, Chelsea have not given up hope of signing their former striker in the next month. The indications at the moment are that Chelsea haven’t given up, even though it clearly a deal which will be difficult to complete at this late stage of the market.

Chelsea offer Kenedy to Sevilla

Chelsea appear to be changing tact in their pursuit of Jules Kounde after Kurt Zouma refused to be a part of any potential swap deal. Goal Brazil suggest that the Blues have now offered Brazilian winger Kenedy to the Spanish outfit in part-exchange. As of yet, Chelsea have apparently received no response.
