With a remarkable 51 point from their opening 20 games athletico madrid is soaring high at the top of laliga, and these is strongly influenced by the 16 goals in 17 games that has been registered by their Uruguayan star striker Luis suarez.

 But Barcelona and Real madrid could be cutting the existing 8 point gap with their current top performances.

  If Madrid could beat Getafe at home on Tuesday and Barcelona could also record a victory over Deportivo Alavés, the point would probably get reduced to five which gives both team an hope of winning the title.
