Real Madrid and Barcelona are two of the best clubs in the world, and they are national rivals in Spain. These clubs have some of the best players in the world in their team, and one of the surprises that football offers is that rivals today can be teammates tomorrow.
Even though Messi is a Paris Saint-Germain player now, he will continue to be one of the legends of Barcelona. His unexpected move to Paris Saint-Germain made him teammates with some of his rivals in Real Madrid.
Achraf Hakimi is one of the players that Paris Saint-Germain didn't get free this summer, he is a former Real Madrid player, in short, he was born in Madrid and played for the club for 14 years. In a recent interview with L'Equipe, the Moroccan explained how Messi carries himself.
He said, “It was a dream for me [to play with Messi]. I was surprised by the way he carries himself; he's simple, quiet.” He said he played with many players, but Messi was missing on the list, and he is happy to be his teammate.
Messi is humble and quiet indeed, he said that is what he was taught in La Masia, Barcelona's academy. He prefers to make his statements more on the pitch and is not a flamboyant person.
