There was no club match for Chelsea through out last week due to the international break. But after the international break was concluded in mid-week, all players that went to their various countries returned to the team and as expected, Chelsea FC played in the English premier league against West Brom this weekend. The Chelsea vs West Bromwich Albion game was the first game in the premier league after the break.

Both Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion went into the game in search of a win, with Chelsea looking to cement there place at top four as soon as possible, while the Baggies are fighting to survive from relegating into the championship next season. But there was a bit surprise in the game as the Blues lost 2-5 at Stamford bridge against a relegated threatened team.

So as a result of the loss against the Baggies, Chelsea top four hopes has been given a big blow, and it could be tough for them to qualify, because the remaining eight games that the Blues will play are very tough teams which includes Crystal Palace, Brighton, West Ham United, Fulham United, Manchester City, Arsenal FC, Leicester City and Aston Villa.
