Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is open to taking over the Manchester United managerial job from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if the Norwegian gets sacked. After the disappointing loss against Liverpool, it was reported by The Guardians that players are questioning whether the Norwegian tactician can take the team to the promised land.
The report was provided by a reliable dressing room source. The players are currently questioning the Norwegian's capability, and they are questioning if Solskjaer is good enough for the team.
After the disappointing result, Manchester United owners the Glazers are currently considering showing the manager and exit door anytime soon.
Richard Arnold, who is understood to be the club's spokesman, has canceled all the appointments he has today in order to hold talks with Glazers.
Conte has reportedly not received any formal contact from the club. Although he hates taking up jobs in the middle of the season, but he would make an exception for Manchester United because he considers the club a special opportunity.
