Ngolo Kante have joined the French national team ahead of their two weeks international football despite pulling up injured in Chelsea last match against Liverpool.
The midfielder have been struggling with injury since the start of the season missing out on the first game of the season against Crystal palace and played just 45 minutes in both Arsenal and Liverpool games.
The coach Thomas Tuchel would have loved him to sit out the international break and recover fully before club football resumes in September.
