MUN vs LIV: How the Red Devils could line up without Bruno and Rashford.

Speaking to the press yesterday, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Bruno Fernandes is a doubt for their game against Liverpool Football Club.

Apart from Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford is also a doubt for the game.

Though the absence of these players could be a big blow to the team, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has other quality players to fill in the spots.

Here's an option the Norwegian tactician could use against Jurgen Klopp's men tonight. Check it out below:

Formation

In terms of system, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could keep using his 'favored' 4-2-3-1 formation.

Goalkeeper

David De Gea has been in excellent form since the start of the season, as such, he's expected to keep his place in the goal.

Defense

Though his recent performances have been below average, club captain Harry Maguire is expected to be the main man in central defense alongside Victor Lindeloef, who keeps covering for the injured Raphael Varane. Eric Bailly is also an option in central defense.

The duo of Luka Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is undoubtedly going to be starters in the full-back position.

Midfield

With Bruno Fernandes' possible absence, Paul Pogba could be drifted to the attacking-midfield role while Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic occupy the double-pivot positions.

Attack

Jadon Sancho will be hoping to open his goal-scoring account for the Reds in this game. As such, he could start as a left-back with Mason Greenwood playing on the opposite side.

Cristiano Ronaldo will undoubtedly be a starter in the center-forward position.

Key Stat

Manchester United has won just one of their last 10 Premier League meetings with Liverpool, though six of those games have been drawn (L3).

Last season, Jurgen Klopp's men beat the Reds Devils by 4 goals to 2 at the Old Trafford Stadium.
