England striker, Harry Kane has finally released a statement on Wednesday about where he will be playing this season. He talked about his plans for the season as he has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City.
The English international has said that he will be remaining at Tottenham Hotspur for the season. This statement is coming after his desire to join Manchester City this transfer window has been turned down by Tottenham's chairman, Daniel Levy.
Kane, who missed the game against Manchester City due to the speculations, surrounding his future has now said he will be giving his best to the London club this 2021/2022 football season.
He said the reception he received from the fans on Sunday was incredible, this explains why he has decided to stay with the club till the end of the season.
The star player said, "It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks".
"I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS". This was according to Harry Kane.
