Rangers, Fenerbahçe Meet Over Osayi-Samuel Transfer

The proposed transfer talks between Rangers and Fenerbahçe over Osayi-Samuel's future is scheduled to hold next week, Aspor can exclusively report.

The Scottish Premier League champions had tabled an initial fee of £3m for the player, but Fenerbahçe insisted on not selling the midfielder for nothing less than £4m.

Turkish transfer pundits, Yagiz Sabincuoglus cooped that the Light Blue made an offer for the player who has struggled to make any appreciable impact since joining the Turkish giants.

Osayi-Samuel could only score one goal in 19 matches last season after a successful stint at Queen's Park Rangers in the English Championship. Hitc.com believe that the 23-years player now see Rangers' offer as an opportunity to relaunch his dwindling career.

More importantly, moving to Ibrox could guarantee UEFA Champions League football next season after he was initially linked with a move to Ibrox last January. But It remains to be seen if manager Stephen Gerrard is will to cough out £4m for a player who struggled to find his rhythm in the Turkish Super Lig.
