Former Liverpool forward, Daniel Sturridge has predicted that Manchester City Erling Haaland will score two goals against Real Madrid tonight in the UEFA Champions League Semi final game scheduled to start in few minutes.
The two heavyweights drew 1-1 in the first leg in Madrid last week, with Kevin de Bruyne cancelling out Rodrygo’s opener with a vicious long-range strike.
However, the Premier League title is practically wrapping up and an FA Cup final date with Manchester United already in the diary, but Pep Guardiola’s side must beat Madrid if they are to secure an opportunity to finally lift the UCL trophy this season after waiting for many years.
Much has been made of Guardiola’s failure to lead City to Champions League glory, but Daniel believes the signing of Haaland represents the final piece of the puzzle.
Although the 22-year-old Erling Haaland failed to record a goal to his name during the first leg, but Daniel Sturridge believes he will score at least two goals tonight, after netting 52 goals in 48 games this season already and with incredible midfielders like De Bruyne and Silva, he could seal the top scorer award in this season’s Champions League.
