540 minutes of gruelling football lies in between Barcelona and their second piece of silverware. The previous week brought smiles to Catalonia in every way possible.
A loss for Atletico Madrid and a paltry draw for the defending champions further strengthened Barcelona’s stronghold on the title race. They are now just two points adrift of Diego Simeone’s side, and the game in hand on Thursday could see the Catalans top the table for the first time.
Barca have the chance to go top of the table for the first time since June 2020 if they beat Granada CF later tonight at the Nou Camp.
In a series of photos posted by the club on its social media pages, it's players were seen undergoing final training sessions ahead of the match.

Speaking ahead of the match, Barca's manager, Ronald Koeman spoke of the team's desire to win this game.
He was quoted as saying, "We know that we can be leaders, it can be a reward, but first we have to win. If you look back it is an unexpected situation, fighting for the league is something great that we have achieved."
