Frank Lampard’s acquisitions of both Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have been well received by Chelsea fans. Werner scored 35 goals for RB Leipzig this season whilst Ziyech found the back of the net himself on nine occasions for Ajax.
Chelsea's next crucial game in the Premier League will be the newly confirmed Premier League Champions Liverpool after they look to take on their top rivals in the FA Cup semi-final this evening. It is well known that Chelsea currently are in a tight spot in the top 4 position, with Leicester and Manchester united behind Chelsea with only a deference point of about 2. So if there is any mistake from the blues, they might see themselves trailing back at 5th position causing them a Champions League ticket for next seasons campaign.
I know all Chelsea fans will be wishing and praying for their two newly signed attackers could partake in their last two Premier League crucial fixtures against Liverpool and Wolves, to help the secure all six points with ease. But the beautiful dream of seeing the two star players in the pitch more especially the Moroccan winger Ziyech play against Liverpool will be definitely be void because i t wouldn't be possible. They will need to wait for next season to restart so the can play with Chelsea team.
Chelsea will need to work hard with their current squad to snatch an important 3 points from Liverpool although we know it will be tough for the blues.
