Chelsea might be a potential league trophy winner in the future as they are currently the first in the Premier League table. But Thomas Tuchel might have a problem as he would be without his two strikers. Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner sustained injuries in the match against Malmo FF on Wednesday night.
Despite the injuries, Chelsea might still maintain their position in the table after match week 10 and might continue maintaining that spot till the end of the season.Tuchel is a coach that likes rotating players, trying to discover their best positions, so losing Romelu and Werner at the same time might not be a problem for him as he has Kai Havertz who can as well play in a false nine position. Kai Havertz has shown his qualities in the no 9 position even in the champions league final against Man City.
Also, Chelsea's squad depth has provided Tuchel with so many options to select from. Meanwhile, Chelsea's next 3 fixtures do not seem to be a big challenge for Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea will play Norwich City at home on Saturday and Southampton on Tuesday. Romelu and Werner might not be available for the two matches till Thomas Tuchel holds a press conference to confirm their absence.
