Gerrard, Ekong and Iheanacho react to Super Eagles star's statement after scoring his first goal

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Joe Aribo netted his first goal since returning from injury on Sunday evening, as he scored his team's first goal in their 2-0 victory over Livingston Football club in the Scottish Premier League.

The Nigerian international has been out of action for the past two months because of the injury he sustained while playing for his club, but he returned to action few days ago, and he was working on his recovery on a daily basis before being given his first start on Sunday evening.

Joe Aribo has played Glasgow Rangers last two matches from the bench, but he was given his first start in two months on Sunday, and he marked it with a goal.

Joe Aribo opened scoring for Glasgow Rangers in the 9th minutes with a fine goal, after receiving an assist from Ianis Hagi.

England star Jermain Defoe doubled the lead in the 16th minutes, after receiving a cross from James Tavernier to end the match 2-0 in favour of Steven Gerrard's Glasgow Rangers.

Reacting after scoring his first goal for Glasgow Rangers since returning from injury, Joe Aribo posted on his verified Instagram handle that;

"Massive 3 points today! Happy to be back on the score sheet🙏🏾"

Reacting to Joe Aribo's statement, Glasgow Rangers head coach Steven Gerrard, Super Eagles stars William Troost Ekong, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Ola Aina reacted by liking his statement, while some fans commented.

The 2-0 victory has now taken Glasgow Rangers to the top of the Scottish Premier League table.
