Man Utd vs Liverpool: ‘My darkest day’ – Solskjaer makes demand after 5-0 defeat

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged his team to bounce back soon after their humiliating 5-0 loss to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

Man United's defeat against Liverpool, according to Solskjaer, was his saddest day as a manager.

Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick and Naby Keita and Diogo Jota each scored once as Liverpool smashed Man United at Old Trafford.

"It's difficult to say anything other than it's the saddest day I've had as a manager," Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

"Neither individually nor as a group, we were not good enough." The entire performance was insufficient.

Take a look at our 6-1 loss to the Spurs last season; this is far worse.

"As a Manchester boy, this is a lot worse." I just have to convey that we need to get over this as soon as possible.”

Man United's next Premier League encounter comes on October 30 against Tottenham Hotspur.
