You could see that some familiar faces get into the list this season, but these players might not win the golden boot award. In this article, I will be showing you the 4 favorite players that could win the UEFA Champions League golden boot.
1. Bayern Munich: Robert Lewandowski (5 Goals)
The Polish forward might not be the leader as of now, but I believe that he is the favorite player that could win the UEFA Champions League golden boot award, Robert Lewandowski is surrounded by great players that can create chances for him to tap into the net, and he is also a great header that can score goals from the set pieces. One of the major reasons why I claimed that the Polish forward will win the award, is because of the Bayern Munich recent form, Bayern Munich could go far in the competition and the club might even win the trophy, so he has the chance to score many goals.
2. Liverpool: Mohamed Salah (5 Goals)
In my own opinion, Mohamed Salah is the second favorite player that might win the UEFA Champions League golden boot award this season, he has already scored 5 goals and I believe that he will score more goals before the knockout stage.
3. Ajax: Sebastian Haller (6 Goals)
You might be surprised that Sebastian Haller is the third player on my list, he has done really well this season, but I don't think that Ajax will go far in the competition and he might be overthrown by Robert Lewandowski or Mohamed Salah. He has already scored 6 goals in the competition and he is the third favorite player that might win the UEFA Champions League golden boot award.
4. Manchester United: Cristiano Ronaldo (3 Goals)
There's a possibility that Cristiano Ronaldo could win the UEFA Champions League golden boot, he has already scored in 3 straight matches in the competition and I believe that, he is the fourth favorite player that might win the award.
