Some countries in the AFCON 2022 qualifications groups rounded up qualification yesterday with a few upsets and surprises playing out.
They were action in the final matches of Group A as Namibia and Guinea did battle with Mali and Chad also facing off.
Namibia would snatch victory against Guinea although it was not enough to see them go through as Mali qualified in second place behind Guinea after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Chad.

Tanzania crashed out of Group J with their heads held up high as they defeated bottom placed Libya in group J.
Tunisia also made light work of second placed Equatorial Guinea who were trashed 2-1 by Africa's highest ranking team.

There was also action in group C as crucial final games were played across the day.
Ghana sealed qualification as group leader thanks to their resounding 3-1 victory over Sao Tome and Principe. Elsewhere Sudan also qualified in second place over South Africa as they secured a hard fought victory over Bafana Bafana who failed to reach yet another AFCON tournament.
