Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi who was born on the 16th day of December 1996 is a Nigerian professional Footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for his country Nigeria and his club Leicester City.

He started his club career on the 31st of January 2015 in Belgium where he played for Genk making 61 appearances and scored 4 goals including his long rage goal which was considered as the goal of the season in the Belgian league.

After Ngolo Kanye left Leicester City for Chelsea, they searched for someone who could replace the indispensable kante and they finally settled for Wilfred Ndidi.

Since his arrival at Leicester City, he has lived up to expectation and somehow described as the shield of the teams defensive line. He has been very pivotal in Leicester's progress so far.
