Manchester United football club of England has been dealt a big blow as players are confirmed to be injured.
The Red Devils defeated Newcastle United by 3-1 during yesterday's premier league match, goals from Marcus Rashford, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandez were all that's needed to seal all three points with Saint Maximim's goal acting more like a consolation to the visiting team.
However, one the notable things in that game was the absence of the trio of Edison Cavani, Scott McTominay and Donny Van De Beek from the match day squad.
Speaking after the match, United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the players are left out of the squad because they are injured.
The Manchester club will be taking on Real Sociedad in the return leg of the Europa league round of 32 before they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the premier league.
Van De Beek will be partly missed as he is majorly used as a fringe part of the squad while the duo Cavani and McTominay will be greatly missed if they fail to be fit for the matches coming up this week.
