How 3 goals conceded in 9 League matches revealed Chelsea FC improvement under Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea football club continue their impressive form under coach Thomas Tuchel over the weekend, as they defeated relegation threatening Norwich City football club 7-0 to extend their lead on top of the English Premier League table.

The Blues have become one of the best clubs in Europe since German tactician Thomas Tuchel took over from sacked Frank Lampard in January, and they've been able to win a lot of matches.

Chelsea football club were not at their best under Frank Lampard, and that's why the England Legend was sacked by Roman Abramovich.

Thomas Tuchel went on to help Chelsea FC win the UEFA Champions League title, and they've also been exceptional since the beginning of the season.

The London-based club have only conceded three goals in the English Premier League this season, and they have also been scoring a lot of goals.

They've already played 9 League matches this season, and they've been able to score the total number of 23 goals, conceding only three (against Liverpool '1', Manchester City FC '1' and Southampton FC '1').

Out of the three goals conceded by the Blues, two were from penalty kicks, while the other one was from the corner kick, (they are the only team in Europe top five leagues that are yet to concede from an open play this season).

Apart from not conceding many goals, Chelsea football club players have all been superb for the club, and more than 16 of them have scored this season (including the team's defenders).

Edouard Mendy has been the team's hero since joining them from French Ligue 1 giants Stade de Rennes football club, and he has cemented his spot as the team's number 1 goalkeeper.

The Blues are also blessed with some of the best defenders in Europe, and that's why they have been able to concede few goals this season.

They'll now be looking forward to continuing their impressive form under coach Thomas Tuchel when they play their next game in few days time.
