Nigerian star Bright Osayi-Samuel was outstanding for Erol Bulut led Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce football club on Tuesday afternoon, as he inspired them to a 2-1 away victory over Omer Erdogan led Hatayspor FC in the week 22 of the Turkish Super Lig, as they extended their lead on top of the table.
The Nigerian-born star who joined the former Turkish Super Lig Champions few days ago was given a starting role by coach Erol Bulut, after his excellent performance for the team in their 1-0 victory over Rizespor FC on Saturday, and he was able to impress again as he played a vital role in their away victory.
Bright started in Fenerbahce's attack alongside Enner Valencia, Mert Hakan Yandas, and Mame Thiam, and he was able to impress as he contributed to his team's victory.
Mame Baba Thiam opened scoring for the away team in the 26th minutes after receiving an assist from Nigerian Bright Osayi-Samuel, as the first half ended 1-0.
Hatayspor FC defender Jean Claude Billong mistakenly sent the ball into his own net in the 88th minutes, to make the scores 2-0, before Aaron Salem Boupendza scored a consolation goal for Hatayspor football club in the 90th minutes via an assist from Alexandros Katranis, as the match ended 2-1 in favour of the away team.
Bright Osayi-Samuel was superb for the home team in the game, and he was able to marked his impressive performance with an assist.
The victory over Hatayspor FC now means Fenerbahce football club have extended their lead on top of the Turkish Super Lig table with 48 points from 22 matches played.
