EPL: Two Problems Chelsea Are Having Ahead Of Their EPL Match

Chelsea is currently one of the teams in the English league that is enjoying a good run of results. Their good form continued as the club also recorded another brilliant victory against Swedish side Malmo in their UCL encounter.

This coming weekend, they will be battling Norwich in a league match which they are also expected to win. Victory from the game will help the blues maintain their lead on the table if the right tactics are deployed by Tuchel.

Also, Thomas Tuchel's team will have the opportunity of increasing their point gap if the match between Manchester United and Liverpool ends up with neither of the team being able to claim three points.

But even as the fixture appears to be an easy one for the London outfit but securing victory might be difficult as two problems happen to be worrying the team ahead of the match.

1. Two of their strikers are injured

It that two of the Blues' established point men were taken off the field in Wednesday's UCL match against Malmo due to injury. Lukaku was first to leave the pitch after a hard tackle by Nielsen caught his ankle while Werner also headed out due to a hamstring.

It is a problem for Chelsea as both strikers could be out for some time, according to Skysports. As the team prepares to face Norwich, Tuchel will be forced to look for other attacking options in order to cover the space left by the two players.

2. Formation issues

As we saw in last week's match against Brentford, the 3-5-2 formation seems to be preferable when Chelsea are using Lukaku and Werner at the front.

But the absence of Werner and Lukaku in the lineup leaves Tuchel with the problem of looking for a suitable formation that the squad will use against Norwich.
