Only one game went down in the Serie A today as Inter Milan travelled to face Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Thursday night. Antonio Conte's men were looking to move 6 points clear as leaders of the league table with a win against the home team.
Inter Milan didn't have the possession counts in their favour but they did well to create several goalscoring chances in search of the first goal in the match. The visitors had few goal attempts but none could find the back of the net. Parma also couldn't get a goal in the first half as both sides went into the halftime break with a goalless scoreline.
Inter Milan finally opened the scoring as Alexis Sanchez capitalised on a defensive blunder from Gaston Brugman to put the visitors' 1-0 up in the 55th minute of the game.Alexis Sanchez got his second goal of the match as he finished beautifully from Lukaku's pass to double Inter Milan's lead in the 62nd minute of the game.
Parma pulled a goal back in the 71st minute of the game as Hernani found the back of Inter's net with a lovely volley strike to make the scoreline respectable at 2-1. The scoreline remained as it was with Inter Milan securing a narrow 2-1 victory over Parma at the end of the match.

Inter Milan remained top of the Serie A table with 59 points and 6 points clear of second-place AC Milan.
