The London Derby March ended with Arsenal being triumphant without their Captain who was benched for late arrival to the teams training. It is popularly known that the teams Manager Mikel Arteta hates lateness. And the fact that Aubameyang is so useful to the team doesn't save him from their managers punishment. It was obvious that Aubameyang was so annoyed as he sat on the bench in the last weekend game.
There were inquiries about if the team has the courage to strip Aubameyang stripped of his title as the teams captain. Being the teams leader he should set a good example for others to follow. After the game he did not even bother to join the team for their post match warm down. He entered his ferrari and left.
But it seems Arsenal are set to let him off the hook and let him keep the armband. Reports indicate Arteta considered the matter done and dusted. Though this kind of behavior has caused Aubameyang not to be the player he was last season. He needs to sort his issues out as Arsenal needs him to end the season with a bang.
But there are speculations that the Gunners would let him keep his title with just a warning. And it seems that the manager has gotten over the issue. Aubameyang behavior caused him not to play as efficient as he did last season. The issue needs to be settled cause Aubameyang is expected and needed to help end the season with a blow.
