According to Italian publication Il Mattino, Manchester United are inching closer to signing Kim Min-jae from newly-crowned Serie A champions Napoli in the summer. The 26-year-old centre-back has had an spectacular season with Napoli and has attracted plenty of suitors, with the Red Devils the current front-runners. United are already in talks with the player’s entourage and Il Mattino claims that intermediaries have "convinced" him to join Old Trafford. The same report adds that it is just a “matter of details” before his move to Manchester United is finalised.
Mathias ‘Zanka’ Jorgensen signs new deal with Brentford
Mathias ‘Zanka’ Jorgensen has signed a new contract, extending his stay with Brentford until the summer of 2025. The Denmark international has made 28 appearances in all competitions since joining the club as a free agent in September 2021. The 33-year-old has also represented PSV Eindhoven, Huddersfield Town, Fenerbahce and Fortuna Dusseldorf.
