Reasons Why Manchester United Might Not Win Any Title This Season

Manchester United has not been consistent enough this season and may end up with no trophy won come to the end of the season.

Solskjaer's team has been performing below par for much of the campaign. They have been struggling to win games.

The only time United has won convincingly this season was against Leeds United, and Newcastle United.

A 5-1 win over Leeds United at Old Trafford, on the opening game of the season, and a 4-1 win over Newcastle United has been their most recent convincing victory.

Manchester United is 4th on the Premier League table but is yet to play any big team, compared to the other three teams above them that have played against each other.

Manchester United has struggled against the smaller teams; a 1-1 draw against Southampton, a 1-0 win against Wolves, a 2-1 win against West Ham, a 1-0 lose to Aston Villa, a 2-1 lose to Young Boys (UCL), a 1-1 draw with Everton.

The Red Devils have been relying on moments, and individual brilliance to win games, even against the smaller teams.

United has a squad capable of challenging on all fronts, but they've been knocked out of the Carabao Cup already by West Ham United, and their chances of winning their first league title this season since 2013 are so slim.

In the last two weekends; games against Aston Villa and Everton have seen Ronaldo headed straight to the tunnel immediately after the full-time whistle, not giving time for exchanging hugs and handshakes with the opponent.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's incompetency has been the main reason for the bad performances.

He does not have a settled XI, nor a notable style of play. United now looks vulnerable on the counter.

Individual brilliance has been saving Solskjaer since he took over the reign. Since February 1, 2020, Fernandes has always been the hero. In the second part of the 2019-20 season, he singlehandedly qualified Man United for the 2020-21 UCL competition.

De Gea, Ronaldo, Fernandes, and Greenwood have been the savior most times this season.

If Solskjaer does not change his ways, Manchester United might finish this season with no tangible success.
