WWE : Nigerian Wrestler Suffers Brutal Attack From Sami Zayn On SmackDown

The ambition of Apollo Crews to become the new World Wrestling Entertainment Intercontinental champion was destroyed by Sami Zayn on SmackDown.

WWE wrestler of Nigerian descent Apollo Crews was in action against current Intercontinental champion Big E for the prestigious title on Saturday morning.

The 33-year-old was able to qualify for the event after he controversially defeated Sami Zayn last week holding his tight which is against the spirit of sportsmanship.

Sami Zayn came out to protest against the event of last week but was active throughout the night by preventing him from gaining entry into the square ring.

Sami Zayn has handcuffed himself to the barricade in protest with a “Justice For Sami” sign. He says he will compete in the Royal Rumble match.

The Intercontinental Championship match between Big E and Apollo Crews stated with some fast sequence of athleticism in exhibition.

Apollo Crews started it off fast by running into a belly to belly suplex, and Big E positioned him on the apron for a big slam.

The match dragged on for some period with series of headbutts sending Big E to the mat but surprisingly Sami Zayn unlocked his handcuffs.

Apollo Crews hit Big E with a missile dropkick but Sami Zayn who has regained freedom interrupted by running into the ring hit the Nigerian with a Helluva Kick to cost him the match via disqualification.

After arguing with the referee, Sami Zayn also hit Big E with a Helluva Kick, then yelled at the unconscious duo before he finally left the ring.

On paper Apollo Crews was the winner of the match but Big E retains the title via champions advantage but it is left to be seen what both competitors will do to Sami Zayn next week.
