1. Ben Chilwell.
The England international was one of the best players on the field for Chelsea. Chilwell was chosen to start the game ahead of Marcus Alonso and he put in a good showing against the Bees. The last time Chilwell made an appearance for Chelsea in the Premier League, he got a goal and then his time, he was also on the score sheet for Chelsea. Despite having a disappointing start to the season, it seems like Chilwell has rediscovered his top form and is now the first choice left wing back for Thomas Tuchel.
2. Trevor Chalobar.
The 22 year old put in an excellent performance up against Brentford's danger man Ivan Toney. With Rudiger and Thiago Silva out of the game, Tuchel elected to start with in form Chalobar and the youngster rewarded his manager with an excellent performance. His link up play with the midfielders have also significantly improved and so has his passing under pressure.
3. Edouard Mendy.
The Chelsea goalkeeper was one of the reasons Chelsea kept a clean sheet in today's game against Brentford. Mendy made a series of important saves for Chelsea as well as being there each time any of Chelsea's defenders made an error at the back. Sarr, the centre back who started for Chelsea today made a few poor clearances under pressure and it was Mendy mopped things up for him. The 29 year old is quickly establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the League. The win puts Chelsea back on top of the Premier League table.
