The Nigerian Professional Football League continued today as Enugu Rangers walloped Jigawa Golden Stars 3-0.

Christian Nnaji scored a wonderful goal in the 27th minute to open the score sheet before Godspower Aniefok doubled the lead in the 47th minute. Ibrahim Olawoyin capitalised on the pressure they mounted on Jigawa Golden Stars and scored Rangers' third goal in the 57th minute.
Second placed Akwa United struggled to get one point as they were made to work hard after Charles Atshimene got a red card in the second half.
Kano Pillars is currently topping the Nigerian Premier League table. They have garnered 44 points after playing 23 matches. Kwara United sit 3rd, while Rivers United is 4th on the standings.
