The Standard Arsenal Set In The Premier League That May Never Be Attained By Another English Club

Without mincing words, Arsenal have been one of the most successful teams in the history of the Premier league as they sit next to Liverpool and Manchester United with thirteen titles. Despite their struggles in recent years, they used to be a time when the Gunners were the dominant force in England especially during the early days of Arsene Wenger.

However, while conquering Europe may be one feat that has eluded them in their history, there's infact one standard they did set which no other English club has ever attained.

See below;

An Indomitable Premier League Campaign

In the history of the English top flight, only the Red contingent of North London have gone an entire season without tasting defeat, a feat they attained in the 2003-04 campaign. Statistically, they recorded 26 wins, 12 draws and zero losses scoring 76 goals and conceding 26 in the process. To this, the Gunners were presented with a Golden Premier league title, something no other English team has laid hands on.

Although the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool has surpassed the 90 points accumulated by Arsenal that season, none of them have managed to attain invincibility. Critics may argue that the Red contingent of North London are now a shadow of what they used to be, but that doesn't change the fact that they did set a special standard that other English clubs may struggle to achieve in years to come.
