FA Cup

Arsenal's form suffocates Man City FA cup hopes

The struggle not to end the season without a trophy is the story of both teams. Man City have been on an excellent form until they met an even better Arsenal.

Man City were keen on clinching the FA cup, to compensate the fans for missing out of the EPL title this season. Man City have been on a fine form recently as they demolished Liverpool few weeks back. This fine run of form gave boost to the confidence of fans at the Etihad on the team. This game totally changed everything and suffocated any hopes of winning anything really "prestigious" as the season gradually comes to an end.

Arteta schooled Klopp and Pep Guardiola in a space of 4 days. Arsenal defeated Liverpool 2:1 in a game that showed character and class from the gunners. Many football fans and pundits were quick to say, Liverpool lost because they have clinched the title, and no real motivation to play in the team. Last night game would make them eat their words because it proves Arsenal are in a red hot form. Though Arteta has been an assistant of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and was technically being trained by Pep, he has proven to be a very good student. Two Goals from Aubumeyang was enough to send City out of the FA Cup. This further shows the team has very good players that could do damage with the right motivation and partnership. Arteta is bringing stability into the team and he has the support of the board and past players.

This proves that with better transfer in the summer and better cooperation from the players, Arteta's Arsenal could be a significant title contender next season. I hope they win the remaining two games left in the season.

Arsenal is in the final of the FA cup again and they will be facing whoever wins in the game between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Arsenal has proven they are prepared to take down any team and either Manchester United or Chelsea wouldn't be of a serious challenge.
