The Champions League is one of the best football competitions in the world, every footballer wants to play in it, and it was even one of the conditions that Cristiano Ronaldo gave before leaving Juventus. That is how big the game is.

The competition is currently in its third week and some players of Nigerian descent played excellently. The game between Salzburg and Wolfsburg featured 4 footballers of Nigerian descent and 3 of them got on the scoresheet, only the players of Nigerian descent scored in the game.

The first goal was by Karim Adeyemi of Salzburg, it was a sublime finish in the third minute of the game. The second goal of the game was an equalizer for Salzburg, and it was by Lukas Nmecha in the 15th minute.

The third and fourth goals of the game came from Noah Arinzechukwu Okafor and those goals ensured that Salzburg got the 3-1 victory. The fourth player of Nigerian descent in the game was Felix Nmecha for Wolfsburg, but he wasn't on the scoresheet.

Okafor and Adeyemi are no longer eligible to represent Nigeria because they now play for the Swiss and German national teams respectively, but the Nmecha brothers are still eligible.

Congratulations to them.
