The Europa League round of 16 matches were concluded last night, but the memories of the games that happened in the round will last long in people's memories because of the outcome of games and scoreline across Europe the centers where the matches held across Europe.
Some teams like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs, Rangers and AC Milan lost their games, though it was not critical at the end of Arsenal as they qualified even though they lost to Olympiacos, but the story was not the same at the end of Rangers who got knocked out even though they had won their Scottish league with 6 games to spare, Tottenham also got eliminated after a 2-0 first leg lead.
The big match of the night was definitely AC Milan versus Manchester United, as the two former European heavy weights met for the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 match, the focus was on AC Milan and former Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but it was France Midfielder Paul Pogba that stole the show as he scored the only and winning goal in the 49th minute.
After the loss fans have come out to mock the Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his poor performance in the game which he had only two completed passes and was caught offside 3 times, a fan went ahead to show his image alongside Zlatan Ibile a local Nigeria musician who he said that it was the music that showed up for the game instead of Zlatan, as some other fans went ahead to mock him.
What are your thoughts about Manchester United's performance, don't you think they may not win the Europa League if they continue to play as they did against AC Milan? And do you think it's high time Zlatan retired? Make your opinions heard in the comments section below.
