Al Shabab fans have expressed gratitude to Odion Ighalo, after the 31-year-old Nigerian striker weighed in with nine goals and three assists in 13 matches in his first season at the Saudi Arabia Pro League side.
Responding to Ighalo's tweet on Monday, the appreciative fans agreed the player did well for the club, adding that they were looking to win big with him next season.
"Thank God for a successful season," tweeted Ighalo, who joined the club on 4 February 2021 from Chinese Super League club, Shanghai Shenhua on a two-and-a-half-year contract, following a fruitful season-long loan at Manchester United.

Ighalo closed the campaign with a brace in 3-0 home win over Al Wehda FC on Sunday, finding the back of the net on 54 and 90 minutes in the game week 30 tie at Al-Shabab Club Stadium in Riyadh.
The club finished second on the log with 57 points and qualified for AFC Champions League alongside winners, Al Hilal, who garnered four points more.
