Having solved the lack of creativity in the Arsenal team the next major problem Mikel Arteta needs to sort out at Arsenal is the lack of goals, this very delicate problem began brewing after Aubameyang signed a new bumper contract extension with Arsenal.
Prior to signing the contract the Gabonese striker was a goal machine, he had won the EPL golden boot award and narrowly missed out on consecutive awards the next season, but after signing that new deal his goals seemed to dry up, even Alexander Lacazette was misfiring too and it was originally thought that the lack of creativity was the problem.
But Arsenal have Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka creating chances but still yet the goals don't seem to be coming for Aubameyang, in the EPL this season the gunners have only scored two goals in five games, that's very poor from the strikers, well Martin Odegaard has one of those goals and Aubameyang has one.
A look at the situation and we will realize that it's high time Mikel Arteta fix the problem like he fixed the creativity issues, finding a quality striker is a big task but Arteta doesn't need to look very far as one young striker is making a name for himself.
Victor Osimhen will be the perfect fit for Arsenal and here are four reasons why he is the right man to replace the underperforming duo of Lacazette and Aubameyang.
1. His Form
The Nigerian is in top form at the moment, he has scored 5 goals in his last three games for Napoli, that's two against Leicester in the Europa League, one against Udinese and two against Sampdoria, he is exactly what Arsenal needs a striker that is in red hot form.
The former Lille striker is only 22 years old yet he has matured into a very good striker, he is exactly what Arsenal needs a young striker with huge experience, he will be a long term replacement for the ageing duo of Lacazette and Aubameyang.
Osimhen has the physicality to succeed in the EPL, he is strong and fast which seems to be a quality every striker in the Premier League should have, virtually all the strikers in the EPL needs to be able to battle it out with huge opposition defenders if they are to succeed.
4. Transfer Fee
A striker of Osimhen's age and quality will go at a Premium in today's transfer market, Romelu Lukaku despite been 28 years old was bought for £98m, well Osimhen isn't at Lukaku's level but he has all the attributes to get there, at the moment he will cost at least half of what Chelsea bought Lukaku, that would be a bargain buy for Arsenal.
