How Mount has been transformed into a lethal weapon

Chelsea and England international, Mason Mount has come of age after a period of criticism and backlash from fans and is now showing a class that many didn't see coming. The emergence of Tuchel seem to have brought out all the hidden potentials of the young English man, which has made him one if fans favourite. His resurgence has shown why former coach Frank Lampard had so much faith in him. His performance has now made him one of the most dependable and trusted Chelsea player, not even any of the big summer signing can stand him now.

Just after the summer signing of Kai havertz, many thought the end has come for the young star. But on the contrary the big summer signings seem to have woken him from his slumber. While players like England compatriot Tammy Abraham are still struggling for game time he has become a regular feature. His effort has been rewarded with a regular placed in the team, a regular invitee in the national team and one of the competitor for Chelsea player of the season and premier league young player of the year.

As it stands in the team in the current season the young man has been involved in 15 goals this season for Chelsea in all competitions with the latest coming in the champions league against Porto and Crystal Palace in the league. With the second leg of the champions league against Porto in sight, the young man will be looking to continue to build on his reputation and further cement his position In both Chelase and the English national team.

At the national level, Mount has equally made himself relevant to the team. He has shown recently that he is not just coming to the national team to watch others but be the player others will sit on the bench to watch. In the recent world cup qualification played, he was involved in all the three games played by England making a regular starter. At 22 years old, the has already made 16 appearances for the three lions and has been involved In 6 goals already.

His story shows how dreams come true. Little did he know back then in his Chelsea academy days that he will be playing as a key contributor for the parent team in the near future. But determination has eventually paid off. Below are some pictures of him back in the academy with some Chelsea greats, John Terry, Ashkey Cole and David Luiz. I guess looking back at this memory will make him proud of what he has achieved so far.
