Chelsea Women went into action tonight against Liverpool with the hopes of getting a win in order to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the Uefa Women's Champions League next season. They were able to secure a hard fought 2-1 win at the Kingsmeadow after dominating throughout the match.


We got to see the Koivisto open the scoring for the reds in the 2nd minute and the Blues were able to get an equaliser through Charles N in the 41st minute. Samantha Kerr eventually secured the match win for her side by finding the back of the net in the 87th minute.

Chelsea Women strengthens their position at the 3rd spot on the table with 43 points while Liverpool Women sits at the 7th spot with 19 points.
