3 Africans That Are Topping The UEFA Europa League Highest Goals Scorers' Chart

The UEFA Europa Champions league third group fixture matches have been concluded last night in which a lot of spectacular goals were scored. So far, Karl Toko Ekambi of Olympique Lyon and Enner Valencia of Fenerbache are both topping the highest-goals chart with 5 goals each while six players have already scored 4 goals apiece of which two of them are Africans.

1. Karl Toko Ekambi

Ekambi, a Cameroonian, made it 5 after he scored a brace for Lyon in a 3-4 away victory against Spartak Prague. Lyon is currently topping Group A with 9 points after 3 matches.

2. Victor Osimhen

Osimhen who plays for Napoli has scored 9 goals in 10 matches so far this season, is among the 6 players that have scored 4 goals in the Europa league. The Nigerian gangling goal poacher has been in a terrific form for both club and country.

The Super Eagles top striker scored his 4th Europa league goal at the 80th minute in a 3-0 spanking of Legia Warsaw by Napoli.

3. Patson Daka

The young Zambian striker scored a record breaking 4 goals in a Europa league group match between Spartak Moscow and Leicester City. Daka scored his 4 goals in the second half of the match to give the Foxes all three available points at stake.
